The Honoured Ones

'The Honoured Ones' is a short film that focuses on the criminal underbelly of 1980's Rural Victoria, the story centres around the relationship between Sal & Vince, two highly regarded members of Victoria's criminal underbelly, both men want the other dead, this game of cat and mouse only has one ending, a victor and a corpse.

The cinematography style for 'The Honoured Ones' focused heavily on the use of darkness and night, using carefully planned lighting setups in order to not only sell the idea of how alone people can be in the middle of the night, but also to show off how beautiful night and darkness become when manipulated properly by a camera.
